Please consider supporting University of Georgia Men's Tennis by becoming a member of our Champions Club. We're proud of our history and tradition. Our status today has been created by indefatigable efforts by players, coaches, staff, fans, and loyal supporters like yourself.
Did you know that since 1955 UGA has only had two Men's Tennis Head Coaches? The legendary Dan Magill 1955-1988, and our current coach Manuel Diaz since 1989. Both started their Bulldog careers as varsity players.
The life-long commitment is a uniting bond of the Bulldog family. And it's part of the recipe for excellence. Which anyone who has ever worn the red-and-black can attest to.

Hey Bulldawg Fans,
Jimbo Hunt here. I hope no one was expecting to hear from anyone else today because you're stuck with me again:) Everyone is really excited to be in College Station, but I can honestly say I miss Athens already!
After a relatively easy flight and drive to College Station, we arrived at the tournament hotel around 3pm. We unpacked and headed to the Pebble Creek Country Club where we had a solid two-hour practice in the cool 92-degree Texas heat. We stretched, iced and then headed back to the hotel. After showering we decided to go across the street to Abuelo's, a Mexican food restaurant. I was excited for everyone to experience some real Tex-Mex food. I think everyone was pretty satisfied with their meal, except for Travis who decided to leave his fork on his sizzling hot fajita plate and then proceed to put it in his mouth and burn his lip so bad he couldn't eat anymore!
Today, we got up at 7am to try and get used to getting up early for our 9am match Thursday. We had a great practice and everyone was really happy with the way the courts were playing. We ate at Scholotzsky's and then came back to the hotel for the rest of the afternoon. We have the same schedule as tomorrow and then it's match day! I'm off to watch a movie! Keep checking back for more updates from other players! God Bless and Go Dawgs!!

Hello All,
Jimbo Hunt here.
NCAA 1st and 2nd rounds are fast approaching and we could not be more excited to get on the court and start playing! After watching the NCAA Selection Show, where we learned our draw and saw that we earned a #4 seed in the tournament, we have been working very hard to put ourselves in a position to defend our National Championship.
With the SEC Tournament and NCAA's a week earlier this year we have been practicing with final exams going on. Everyone on the team has been studying very hard but that hasn't stopped us from getting in some crucial practice and conditioning time. Our practices have been a little more individualized which has given us a chance to work on some specific things in our games.
With only one practice left before our first round I can tell you this team is as hungry as any team I have been on. We have our eyes focused on South Carolina State and know that each match is going to present new challenges, but we know we are ready for them. Every person on this team realizes what a great opportunity we have in front of us this year to go out and compete like Bulldawgs, fighting for every point to defend our National Championship!! God Bless and Go DAWGS!!
